The contraction of the real estate market in Colombia is evident in alarming figures, such as those reported by Camacol's Coordenada Urbana, which indicate a 45% drop in sales of new units, with only 130,851 units placed on the market. This beginning of the year does not show encouraging signs either, which generates concern in the sector. Experts propose increasing public investment in new projects and expanding subsidies to facilitate access to the formal housing market for lower-income and middle-class households.
